Ondinata / “Sleepy Lullabye”

“Ondinata – Songs For Ondine” premieres today, on February 28th, the international day for rare diseases. The proceeds go to Zdejmij Klątwę – the Polish CCHS foundation in order to help finance the process of introducting the cure for this life-threatening disease (CCHS is also known as “the curse of Ondine”, and, put simply, it means you stop breathing the moment you fall asleep). The album has been beautifully curated by Magda Hueckel and Tomasz Śliwiński, our friends and makers of the Oscar nominated film “Nasza klątwa” (“Our Curse”) and “Ondyna”. Magda is also an amazing photographer, whom I worked with many times.

The project has a gorgeous website: https://ondinata.com

Together with Wojtek Traczyk, we recorded our version of “Senna kołysanka” (Sleepy Lullabye) by Tadeusz Woźniak and Bogdan Chorążuk, a song from my childhood, which was part of the amazing musical radio-play (and record) “Moomin Summer” (in the 1970s). You can listen to the song here.

You can purchase Ondinata in many formats:
