Gaba Kulka – singer, pianist, writer of lyrics and music, poet, parent. She has released five albums of her own music (Out, Hat Rabbit, Wersje, The Escapist, Kruche), and lent her voice to a dozen others, joining forces with artists such as Jan Młynarski, Olo Walicki, Smolik, Konrad Kucz, Warszawska Orkiestra Rozrywkowa, and Baaba. She has covered Iron Maiden and Wojciech Młynarski. She has written music and lyrics for other performers (Hey, Emmanuelle Seigner, Natalia Kukulska, Reni Jusis, Marcelina, Piotr Zioła). For years a regular at the Polish Radio, after jumping ship from Radio Three she kicked off her own music podcast, „Dom”. Recipient of several awards, such as the Polish music industry’s Fryderyk (singer of the year), nominated to Polityka’s “Passport” award. What she enjoys most is writing and recording backing vocals for other artists (Maryla Rodowicz, among others).
