We’re launching a competition today, and you can win some one-of-a-kind prizes.
As you know, last week we released an animated video I’d made myself, to accompany our most recent single, “The Escapist”. (alternatywnie: vimeo)
Most of these drawings and hand painted lyrics were destroyed in the process of making it (as you can see in the video), BUT a few nice ones survived. Now they can be yours, signed, so that each time that frame comes up, you can jump up and say: “I’ve got this on my wall. Gaba drew it”.
How to enter the contest? Easy. “The Escapist” (both the lyrics and the animation) is full of pop-culture nods, mostly to movies and tv-series. Spot as many as you can (you’ll get extra points for marking the time when the reference pops up), let’s say – at LEAST three, but the more the better, and send the list to mail@gabakulka.com

Some advice: 1. Don’t just write down the content of the badges that appear at the start of the video 2. Sometimes the reference is in the combination of the lyric sung and the picture shown. I can’t wait to hear from you!
